Premiered at Sa Taronga in Mallorca to conclude an artist residency during the summer of 2016.
The piece is written in fragments of traditional and (a prototype of) movement notation in addition to having sections of improvisation. Minimal preparation is required and is applied to the hand rather than the piano. A glove with felt-wedges attached to the fingertips is worn on the left hand to bring out a clarify in the harmonic passages. During passages with rapid changes between the keys and the strings, the hand is used raw.
