Performance Note:
A setting of otherness.
Introspection akin to the form of a kaleidoscope, constantly shifting between moments of clarity and obscurity. The design of the piece is to connect the three performers into one sonic world within which each finds itself in a constant state of isolation. In surrendering to the isolation, each voice forfeits its hold on the otherness of its own experience. An alternate entity is hence constructed within which each voice finds a shared understanding of the other, retaining its unique voice while existing within the context of differing perspectives.
