Finalist for Chamber Opera Competition, set to L’Étranger by Camus, with Mannheim National Theatre. Results (by jury) announced in mid-July 2020 at the Mannheim National Theatre, Germany.
Our pitch - alongside librettist Bea Redweik and stage director Johan Klint Sandberg - is to create a poetic hyperrealist setting of the original text through a personified sun, creating an ongoing and lucid dream-like dialogue between the protagonist and the reflections of his surroundings.
